Target Arts & Wonder Free Family Event : Saturday, July 17, 2010 - Sunday, July 18, 2010 - 2:00pm-6:00pm

This is a FREE two-day music & arts festival sponsored by TARGET with Live Music, Arts & Crafts led by professional artists from Angels Gate Cultural Center & top quality food venders at Peck Park, 560 North Western Avenue, San Pedro, CA 90732. Each day will feature exciting music and arts presentations from 2pm until 6pm. This outdoor event, produced by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Grand Vision Foundation, Duval Productions, and Angels Gate Cultural Center, will feature musicians include La Charanga Cubana, Spirit Chorale of Los Angeles, Sacred Fire, Taiko Center of LA, Bonne Musique Zydeco, Nu Pan Groove Steel Drum, and La Santa Cecilia, as well as a variety of art activities and food vendors for people of all ages to enjoy!! Co-Ed Manhattan Beach Dodgeball League Kicks Off!

The World Dodgeball Society is heading back to Manhattan Beach to kick-off 2 summer leagues in the South Bay!

Men, women, any skill level welcome! Individual and team spots still available.

Then join us for our kick-off Jamboree on July 13th for the Advanced League (Tuesday nights) or July 19th for the Recreation League (Monday nights)!!

The season lasts 9-10 weeks with a roster of no more than 22 people.
Games are at 7:00,8:00 and 9:00 at Adventureplex (1701 Marine Ave, 90266). Each team plays once per week for 50 min.
Cost for the season is $55 and includes a sexy league shirt and a fabulous party at Mr. Pockets at the end of the season!

The ultimate rock & roll session man, Leon Russell's long and storied career includes collaborations with a virtual who's who of music icons spanning from Jerry Lee Lewis to Phil Spector to the Rolling Stones. A similar eclecticism and scope also surfaced in his solo work, which couched his charmingly gravelly voice in a rustic yet rich swamp pop fusion of country, blues, and gospel. His own hits include - Delta Lady, Tight Rope and Lady Blue.

Riviera Village Summer Festival: Saturday, June 26, 2010 - Sunday, June 27, 2010

Start your summer fun with the Riviera Village Summer Festival at the corner of Catalina and Avenue I in Redondo Beach.

See artisan crafts, sample great food, and have the kids play on carnival rides. Watch local acts perform on the Community Stage and visit the Hawaiian Village, which will include Polynesian dancing. Or you can just hang in the ocean view Beer Garden, listening to great live bands all day. There will be music for all musical tastes during the two-day festival.
