Spyder Surfboards announces Surf Fest 3, Saturday, April 17th on the Pier Plaza. Featuring the Rockstar Energy Drink main stage, surfer Donavon Frankenreiter will headline the live performances. In addition to Donavon the line-up includes Musket, Latch Key Kid and Brendan Lynch, as well as the Spyder Girls fashion show, showcasing the latest styles in ladies bikinis and surf fashion.

Pier Plaza will be packed with your favorite surf brands, including Billabong, Hurley, Volcom, Electric, Quiksilver, Rip Curl and many, many more. Come out for free give-aways, fun games and great vibes.

Surf Fest 3 is in conjunction with Hermosa Beach’s Legends of Surf Weekend, kicking off Friday night, April 161th at 6:00pm at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse, with three surf film screenings. The Occumentary, Go Brett! and The Drifter will be presented by legendary surfers Mark Occhilupo and Pat O’Connell, with US Open Champion Brett Simpson. Food, drink, music and silent auction will immediately follow.

The Legends of Surf Weekend kicks off on Friday night April 16th at the Hermosa Beach Community Playhouse with two surf film screenings.

The Legends of Surf Weekend kicks off on Friday night April 16th at the Hermosa Beach Community Playhouse with two surf film screenings.

First, 1999 ASP World Surfing Champion Mark Occhilupo will be in attendance to present his award winning Billabong film, The Occumentary. Next, former World Tour surfer Pat O’Connell will be on hand with 2009 Hurley US Open of Surfing Champion Brett Simpson to premiere the new Hurley films, Go Brett and The Drifter starring Rob Machado. Following the movie there will be food, drinks, live music and a silent auction on site, to benefit the Hermosa Beach Historical Surfing Museum.

The silent auction will feature a wide selection of pro-surfing memorabilia and merchandise packs, including autographed surfboards, original art, photography, wetsuits, apparel, sunglasses and more.
